Untethered

Untethered, were my shoelace knots
And I slightly bent to tie
Stormed by the race, I fell behind
Thus, success spoke goodbye.

Untethered, were those knots again
And I ignored it rather
Then, I tripped over and fell behind
Thus, success went farther.

Untethered, are they anew
Should I bend or should I not?
Yet, another time, will I fall behind?
Can I guard myself from rot?

Confused

If Poeple From Turkey Are Called As Turks,
And Scots Are The People Who Come From Scotland,
And Poles Are The People Who Come From Poland,
Are People From Germany Called As Germs?

( just for fun…✌)

Can anyone tell me who are they?

Can anyone tell me who are they?
Can anyone tell me where they stay?
They who eat those cotton candies
That levitate up the world so high
That sooner slowly drifts away

Some have told me they would pay
They do drop golden coins in the sky
They who eat those cotton candies
Those candies up the sky that lay
But, can anyone tell me who are they?

Van Ness: Cometh a case

( Read from the start )

COMETH A CASE:

(Meanwhile, Sophie Mathews came
Approached the detective known for his fame
John Peter Adams was his name)

Sophie Mathews:

“It was around the darkest hours of midnight twelve when the moon had ceased to glint faint light
When both the worlds began to fight
When the darkest shadows blinded my sight
When my husband faced his rueful plight

By all means, I swear to God, had I known that devilish demon beneath
Had I heard a single faint little breath
I’d never have let him face his death
This is my word,
my sole word, earnest

Blood was splattered everywhere and some had faintly trailed a path
What had caused this demon’s wrath?
Will there be soon a bad bloodbath?
What brings to me this psychopath?

A million questions were in my mind and a simple answer did I seek
I trailed the path and found Van Ness- the monstrous demon freak
I questioned him, as I stood behind, O’ I wasn’t weak
But it’s then, when I was left in shock,

I heard my husband speak”

What happens then?

Van Ness: Unto death

Read from the beginning

(Came forth the two, the bravest souls
They peeped inside the darkest holes
They shall be beaten unto death
And will be gifted to the earth beneath

But first, they both must endure through
The devilish and dreadful tortures few
They shall be thrashed, flogged and stripped
Into the heavenly fires, they shall be dipped

They shrieked in pain; they screamed; they cried
They took their chances and tried to hide
But Van Ness’ men were everywhere
They were lost inside his evil lair

They were pushed right into an arrow bed
Blood oozed out; they’ll soon be dead
Reached forth his claws and he ripped apart
Their tortured souls; their weakened heart )

Van Ness

You’ve fallen into a world beyond,
What beyond? – A question lay
Let your mind go round and round
And seek the answer from this play

IN THE FACE OF RUIN

( It’s time the secret spies confess
And get ready to face O’ hail Van Ness
In the hands of the devil and the court of doom
Lay petty souls locked inside a room)

Van Ness:

“Frickedy Falkedy Flintedy doo
I’ve come in search for one of you
Let me relish your shriek and cry
Come forth, you spy! Prepare to die!”

Forgive me, my dear

There were many, but I chose to pick you,
To sight such a beauty comes out of the blue,
I noticed your blush, I perceived your smile,
Admiring you, I stood still for a while

I, then, pulled you out and brought you back home,
Both you and me, together, for hours did we roam,
You met a few others and got to know them,
To snatch your smile away, I shall always condemn

But I had to cut you off, I was left with no choice,
Don’t take me wrong, dear, I never did rejoice,
To tell you the truth, I trembled in fears,
I felt really bad; my eyes were filled with tears

I had to peel you off and turn up the heat,
Forgive me, my dear, I never wished to cheat,
You were fresh and perfect; that’s why I picked you,
To sight such an onion comes out of the blue

Away, with a heavy heart, I threw you,
With carrots and garlics and potatoes too,
But, my dear, onion, this wasn’t my plan,
To recklessly slaughter and toss you into the pan

My heart is laden, with regret and rue,
Some part inside me will always want you,
Oh, dear onion, you’re kind hearted and good,
You complete my life and you perfect my food

Mother dear

In search of you, shall come masses,
Come petty souls with deep desires,
And turn the world upside down, they shall,
Shall walk, in search of you, through fires,
Through woods and caves and mountain passes ;

Come shall those souls in search of you,
Those souls mislead in a quest for gems,
‘Cause, like gold and diamond, you’re too precious,
To call you worthless, the world condemns,
Like a pearl, you are, in the oceans blue ;

And to know that closely together, we’re,
Brings me a lot of joy and cherish,
You’re a precious gem, I’m lucky to have,
You and me, always, together in relish,
You’re far too precious, mother dear ;

In search of gems, shall come masses,
Come petty souls with deep desires,
And find that you’re the most precious gem,
Hence, shall walk, in search of you, through fires,
Through woods and caves and mountain passes ;

Perfection’s beguile

Twist it and turn it and sharpen its lead,
Do gift the pencil a straight and sharp head,
Sharpen it further and run it through blades,
But you must realise that, sooner, it fades

The more you sharpen, the shorter it gets,
The sooner it fades and you’ll be filled with regrets
Let it be blunt for once in a while,
Don’t let yourself fall into perfection’s beguile

For something perfect might make it look sharp,
But sooner or later you’ll notice a warp,
Into perfection, don’t let things exhort,
Remind yourself, a sharp pencil is short

‘Cause, the more you sharpen, the shorter it gets,
The sooner it fades and you’ll be filled with regrets
Let it be blunt for once in a while,
Don’t let yourself fall into perfection’s beguile
