Waves of hope

Were, once, the soaring hopes that came
And briskly hit the shore
Are, now, the hopeless waves of shame
With a soaring roar no more

Were, once, the waves that hit the shores
Like lights that sprang out of shadows
But the sea of dark it, now, adores
And, hopelessly, back to the ocean it goes.

Confused

If Poeple From Turkey Are Called As Turks,
And Scots Are The People Who Come From Scotland,
And Poles Are The People Who Come From Poland,
Are People From Germany Called As Germs?

( just for fun…✌)

Can anyone tell me who are they?

Can anyone tell me who are they?
Can anyone tell me where they stay?
They who eat those cotton candies
That levitate up the world so high
That sooner slowly drifts away

Some have told me they would pay
They do drop golden coins in the sky
They who eat those cotton candies
Those candies up the sky that lay
But, can anyone tell me who are they?

Mother dear

In search of you, shall come masses,
Come petty souls with deep desires,
And turn the world upside down, they shall,
Shall walk, in search of you, through fires,
Through woods and caves and mountain passes ;

Come shall those souls in search of you,
Those souls mislead in a quest for gems,
‘Cause, like gold and diamond, you’re too precious,
To call you worthless, the world condemns,
Like a pearl, you are, in the oceans blue ;

And to know that closely together, we’re,
Brings me a lot of joy and cherish,
You’re a precious gem, I’m lucky to have,
You and me, always, together in relish,
You’re far too precious, mother dear ;

In search of gems, shall come masses,
Come petty souls with deep desires,
And find that you’re the most precious gem,
Hence, shall walk, in search of you, through fires,
Through woods and caves and mountain passes ;

I wonder…

Mangoes come from mango trees
On a thought, now, do I dwell
And an apple tree gives red apples
And, sometimes, green as well

Will a banyan tree give banyans, then?
Or a money plant give me money?
Will I find my newest Valentine date
Falling down from a date palm tree?

A play with proverbs

A drowning man will clutch at a straw,
To get out of the pool, he’ll make a rush
‘Cause, once, he swims and escapes out,
He’ll use it to drink an icy slush ;

An empty vessel makes much noise,
If it doesn’t, then, you’re in luck
But I’ll tell you what is even more noisy-
It’s my rumbling and starving stomach ;

Barking dogs seldom bite-
It’s really true and not a deceit
But I’m sure they will bite you soon enough
If you forget to give the dogs a treat ;

Don’t bite the hand that feeds you,
Good things won’t come ahead
But rather use your second choice-
There’s another hand instead ;

Every cloud has a silver lining,
I will tell you no more or less
I know that it’s really shiny and bright,
‘Cause I’ve also seen it in my mommy’s dress ;

Unpossible

My legs abow the vuden tabal
And my hands caching my hed,
I sitting inside my comfy chare
And I feeling as if I is ded

Yestarday, I will go to scool
And I getting my inglish papar,
I afraiding after seeing lo score
What reeson will I tel to my fathar?

As gud as a dog vagging its tail,
As gud as the brite and punctual sun,
My inglish is as wondarful,
Many a teecher’s hart I has won

So remarkabal my inglish is,
I don’t no how, then, I getting les,
I stormed avay at my inglish teechar
And I demanding him to confes

My legs abow the vuden tabal
And my hands caching my hed,
I sitting inside my comfy chare,
And I feeling as if I is ded

Yestarday, I will go to scool,
It is really very very horribal,
Farst time, I fail in my inglish test,
But I, shurly, know that is unpossible!

Autumn Fall

Amanda dear,
Now, listen to me,
Lend me your ear
And hear my plea

There are thousand leaves,
Which you may see,
That unfastens free
And leaves a tree

The alarming fears,
As the fall nears,
You’ll notice it
Turning into tears

But, you must understand
That the leaves would fall,
No matter what,
In the Autumn fall

Just like the leaves
Lives end the same
But, why, Amanda,
Should you hold the blame?

Hey, there! It had been a great surprise when I heard that this poem had won “the penable award!”

I had given a try to H.R Phoenix’s Thursday poetry challenge and here I am with an award! (Yayy!)

Do check out the blog!

PENABLE

To my best friend

More than a stout man’s greatest wish
To, somehow, bend and touch his toes,
I’d always wished every single day,
For you to hear, what I propose

I love you more than a tasty snack
Which, surely, might be hard to believe
But, trust me dear, my love for you
Is more than the joy in a Christmas Eve!

More than a boy hates going to school
Or a mother who likes to shout
Or a little girl’s craze for tea parties
That’s how much I love you, no doubt!

As deep as an enraged tiger’s growl
Or a high school student’s sleep
Or a hungry baby’s long wailing
My love for you’s that deep!

This is who I am

I was thought as a reckless fool
Until, once, I spoke out
Indeed, indeed I was a fool
I had just removed all doubt!

I was seen as smart and bright
‘Cause light travels faster than sound
Until they heard me, it was all right
But later, my foolishness was found!

People said that I’m two-faced
Even my dearest little son
But then, my face would’ve been replaced
Why will I be wearing this one?!
